My uncle was killed in the World War II story, so yes I enjoyed the read. But it was Dwayne Allen's uncle, not mine.

My oldest brother, James Edward Teas (SN USNR), was a gunner on one of the aircraft getting ready for takeoff when the Liscome Bay became the towering inferno described realistically by the writer of this historical reference book. The description of the ships sinking is both graphic and realistic - as far as one can conjecture from the first-hand accounts the writer uses for his material.
